Hygiene product collection

To mark its 10th anniversary, HydroTech Mining is choosing to go beyond celebration by taking meaningful action in support of its community.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, HydroTech Mining (HTM) is pleased to announce a solidarity partnership with the food bank of the Centre de bénévolat de la Vallée-de-l’Or. As part of this initiative, HTM is launching a collection of hygiene products and essential goods to support families in the region who are experiencing hardship.

“For us, celebrating 10 years also means celebrating the community around us. Donating hygiene products is a way of offering comfort and dignity to those in need. We want everyone to feel supported here, at home.”

Cheyne Poirier, CEO

HydroTech Mining invites the community and regional businesses to join this initiative in
order to make a concrete impact on the daily lives of families in need.

The collection will take place throughout the month of May at HydroTech Mining’s offices. Contributions may include personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary products, diapers, etc.), essential goods (toilet paper,
cleaning products, etc.), or financial support, depending on what is most convenient for each donor.

The mission is simple: to collect hygiene products for people in need, and everyone can contribute in their own way. During my first visit to the centre, I was struck by the scale of the needs. It’s an organization that can receive a great deal, which shows just how much every donation matters.”

Paul Cormier, Vice President

A concrete gesture for the community.

At HydroTech Mining, employees are encouraged to get involved through volunteer work. Each month, some of them dedicate a few hours of their work time to the Centre de bénévolat de la Vallée-de-l’Or to support its team. On site, they help with sorting, cleaning, and preparing food bags for people in need.
